There may be times when your child requires access to additional support or services eg support around healthy eating, sleep behaviour, bed wetting, behavioural concerns and emotional wellbeing.
Our team accepts referrals in a number of ways:
- electronic consent forms from any professional who is working with your child

Confidentiality
Unless you give permission, the team will not disclose any information to other professionals unless you give consent to do so. However, there are some exceptions – if the health, safety or welfare of you or your child is at risk the team will have to disclose information and they will always try to speak to you first.
For our safety and yours, all information is held on electronic records that can be seen by other healthcare professionals who follow the same confidentiality rules.
Safeguarding
Our teams are trained to recognise the risk factors, triggers of concerns, signs of abuse and neglect in children. If a member of the team is concerned about a child they will take the appropriate actions to protect them.
They are often the first to recognise that the risk of harm to a child has escalated to a point that procedures need to be implemented to protect them. They maintain contact with families while formal safeguarding arrangements are in place so families receive the best possible support during this time.
