We are a population health focused NHS organisation specialising in supporting people to live independent and healthy lives. Our headquarter is located in Wirral in North West England.
Rated Good with areas of Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in 2023, we play a key role in the local health and social care economy as a high-performing organisation with an excellent clinical reputation. Our vision recognises the important role we play in delivering integrated care with partners in the local health economy.
Our expert teams provide a diverse range of community health care services, seeing and treating people through all stages of their lives both at home and close to home, ensuring essential care continues to be delivered, and preventing unnecessary hospital admissions.
We currently employ over 1,800 members of staff, nearly 90% of whom are directly supporting our patients and service users. Our workforce represented 76% of our expenditure in 2022-23 and is our most important and valued resource. In 2022-23 we had a turnover of £116m.
Our services are local and community-based provided from over 60 sites across Wirral, Cheshire, St Helens and Knowsley. From April 2023 we are expanding and will be delivering the Healthy Young People and Families services across Lancashire, increasing our workforce to over 2,300 members of staff.
We share a common purpose and set of values which guide and support the Trust as we deliver high quality health services.
Common purpose – Together we will support you and your community to live well.
Our values – Compassion, Open and Trust.
